These terms govern your use of Rent Mate. By creating an account you agree to them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. One verified identity may hold one active account.
The service
Rent Mate is a companionship marketplace for booking identity-verified companions for real-world social experiences. It is not an escort service, and bookings are never a payment for sexual services.
Identity verification
Booking a companion, and listing as one, requires completing identity verification: a confirmed phone and email, a government-issued photo ID, a face photo, and a short live video recording. By submitting these you confirm the documents are genuine, are your own, and that you consent to our processing them as described in the Privacy Policy. Submitting forged, altered or another person's documents is grounds for immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.
How verification decisions are made
Every submission is reviewed by a person on our safety team. We may approve, reject, or ask you to resubmit — with a reason. We may also re-verify you later or revoke verification if we find evidence of fraud or impersonation. Verification confirms identity; it is not a character reference, a criminal-record clearance, or a guarantee of anyone's conduct.
Bookings & payments
All bookings and payments happen in-app. At checkout you pay the companion's rate, a Rent Mate service fee (which varies by your subscription), and applicable GST shown as a separate line. Companions receive their rate less a flat platform commission. Rent Mate pays companions after a meet is completed.
Conduct
Romantic or sexual solicitation, harassment, sharing of contact details to move off-platform, and any unlawful activity are prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.
Off-platform activities
If users choose to communicate, transact, or meet outside of the platform for any reason — including exchanging personal contact information, making payments through external methods, or arranging meetings without the platform's involvement — they do so entirely at their own risk. The platform is not a party to, does not monitor, and assumes no responsibility or liability for any actions, disputes, losses, damages, injuries, fraudulent activities, or other consequences arising from such off-platform interactions. Users agree that the platform shall be held harmless from any claims related to these activities.
Liability
Rent Mate provides safety tools but cannot guarantee outcomes of in-person meetings. Use your judgement and the safety features provided.
