How long we keep data and when we delete it.
Location data
Retained only as long as needed for safety, then anonymised or deleted, unless required for an active investigation or legal obligation.
Messages
Retained for moderation and dispute resolution for a limited period, then deleted.
Government ID & biometric data
ID documents, face photos and liveness videos are kept while the account is active and for 90 days after closure, then permanently deleted. Submissions that were rejected are deleted 30 days after the decision. Withdrawing consent triggers deletion of these artefacts. The verification outcome (verified yes/no, decision date, reviewer) is kept as an audit record without the underlying documents.
Account data
Retained for the life of the account and for the period required by law after closure, then deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Financial records
Bookings, payouts and tax records are retained for the statutory period required by applicable law, independently of account closure, and are not deleted on request where the law requires them.
